I'm a U.S. Masters Swimmer, living and working near Yosemite National Park in Northern California. It's close to a two-hour round-trip commute to the pool, so at best, I swim 3-4 times a week. I enjoy cycling between those swim workouts, and I avoid running as much as possible. How this translates in the sprint and Olympic-distance triathlons I participate in? All those folks I pass in the swim and bike portions of the race… pretty much pass me in the run.
