USMS Short Course Championships – Atlanta, Georgia May 20-23

The U.S. Masters Swimming Short Course Championships are just around the corner. The event is being held at the Georgia Tech Campus recreation center in Atlanta.
DATES

Competition: Thursday, May 20 – Sunday, May 23, 2010.

Pool available for warm-ups Wednesday, May 19 from 3 – 8 p.m.

Pacific Masters Short Course Yards Championships, April 16-18, Pleasanton, CA

The Pacific Masters Short Course Yards Championships will be held at the Dolores Bengston Aquatic Center, Pleasanton, California, April 16th through 18th. USPS registration deadline is April 2nd. Online registration deadline is midnight April 7th. You can register online here. There are no deck entries for the championship meet. It Isn’t Always About the World Records

It’s also about proper rest and recovery… right? This photo was taken at the U.S. Masters Swimming Short Course Meters Championships in Walnut Creek this past fall. These properly rested swimmers, I believe, are from Tamalpais Aquatic Masters. (Note to self, next swim meet… take better notes!)
