Time your swimming practices, your bike rides and your training runs well this weekend!
There was an epic battle in the Tour de France on Mt. Ventoux today. (No spoilers here – but let me say YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS IT!) The Ironman World Championships from Kona, Hawaii, is being replayed on television later today. NBC will show live swimming from the World Aquatics Championships in Rome on Sunday morning. And be sure to check out US Masters Swimming - Southern Pacific Masters Swimming Long Course Championships - live on the internet at http://www.liveswim.net It will be available on video-on-demand after Sunday.Pacific Masters Long Course Championships Results
The results of the Pacific Masters Long Course Championships are posted on the Pacific Masters web site. The Large team award was won by USF Masters, medium team by Walnut Creek and small team was Rolling Hills Mudsharks who edged out the Manatee Aquatic Masters. A special congrats to my teammates on the Tuolumne County Aquatics Masters for their 4th place in the overall! W00t!
A shout out to Jenny Kubicki and the Chabot College Aquatics team for organizing the meet.<Hey Jenny, think you can help me out with the $30 parking ticket?!>

Congratulations to all U.S. Masters Swimmers who competed in the Pacific Masters Long Course Championships at Chabot College Swim Complex in the San Francisco Bay Area this past weekend. As far as I can tell, there were 44 masters swim clubs represented. Congratulations to the University of San Francisco Masters. After ‘event 44’ they were well ahead of the pack with 1801 points. A special shout out to the El Camino YMCA Masters, Club Hot Tub, and the Truckee Tahoe Aquatics Masters – it seems as though these teams may have had only one or two people there ‘representing’.
Here's a couple more images taken on Saturday...

Excluding the $30 parking ticket due to an honest mistake (does anyone else think $30 is a TAD excessive?!) - it was a great day at the Chabot College Swim Complex in Hayward, California. Saturday was Day 2 of the Pacific Masters Long Course Championships. If you’re looking for results, you can find them here. I was there to support my Tuolumne County Aquatics Masters (TCAM) teammates and to snap a few images.
