It Isn’t Always About the World Records

It’s also about proper rest and recovery… right?

This photo was taken at the U.S. Masters Swimming Short Course Meters Championships in Walnut Creek this past fall. These properly rested swimmers, I believe, are from Tamalpais Aquatic Masters. (Note to self, next swim meet… take better notes!)

    The gentleman in front would be speedster Richard Burns.

    The other gentleman may be Ken Frost, but don’t quote me on that. As for the title of this photo – for Richard Burns this may be rest and recovery, but it’s between world records, of which he holds several … :-)

    Thanks Caroline! I’ll be sure to check in with you at the next swim meet. I’m still learning the names of my teammates, so I can certainly use some help with other Pacific Masters swimmers.
