As promised, I’m posting some images from the Tuolumne County Aquatics age group open (TCA Age Group Open) swim meet, held July 31-August 2. I’ll post more as time allows. Coach Erica, a former competitive collegiate swimmer and successful English Channel swimmer, does a wonderful job with the program. I can only imagine how rewarding it must be for Erica and her assistants, Allison and Casey, to watch these kids grow and improve and compete in these meets. I spent the following day at the 2009 Summer National Senior Games in Palo Alto. Seeing the kids and seniors swim with such enthusiasm and gusto left me super motivated! Unfortunately, my current business trip has taken me away from my TCAM workouts for two weeks. No doubt I’ll find another swimming pool by checking out the USMS.org "Places To Swim" link. (I did pack the suit, cap and goggles.)
